TheSundownFire
My system is what is in my sig. My box is 3.1 cubes tuned to 35 hz with my own aeros. Due to the depth of my box I had to use PVC elbows to reach the length I needed for the 35 hz tune. I was playing around with WinISD the other night and I figured out that if I remove the elbows my tune moves up to around 48 hz. Would burping with the 48 hz tune do better for me than burping with the 35 hz tune? Im not sure what freq I would burp for either since I assume my peak freq has chaged since I was last metered since I changed boxes and subs. TheSundownFire
Last time I peaked at 42hz which I know probably is irrelevant since my gear has changed but we'll see when I get metered again Quote 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Alpine CDA-9886 Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D Sundown Audio SAX-50.4 Rainbow SAC 265.25 Components Image Dynamics iD12 Optima Yellow Top SQFire FTW. D_man1987
i would say just test it, my peak in my yukon was 53-54hz and i tuned to 56 and it still got a little louder at same peak frequency, so now i am tuning to 53hz.. so even if it isn't louder it will give you an idea of what tuning range would be best.
