Before: After the grinder treatment: The top and side part of the gear box as well as the pitman arm finished up: Also got the inner fenders stripped down ready to be shipped to chrome: Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! Oh man do I ever wish I had a quality chromer locally that didn't stick me for an arm and a leg. I have spent almost $5K shipping my parts to Texas, Cali, Chicago, Arizona....etc. Believe it or not it is actually cheaper for me to ship the parts and have them done out of state than it is to get them done locally! It is not easy building "lowriders" in the midwest. There isn't a Hydro shop in major cities like in Cali, there are little to no distributers out here.....and really any service is cheaper elsewhere. That is why most of it you end up doing yourself. All the metal work, powder coating, painting, assembly, etc. will be done by myself and my 1 other buddy helping me. Otherwise the only thing that was done by someone else was my interior....which I had to ship to Arkansas to get done! Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! Been traveling a ton for work so been tough to get out to the garage, but I should be able to snap a couple pics this weekend of the updated frame. Otherwise I have some odds/ends I have been taking care of. Finally found a deck to control the Ipad so that is finally completed: Also should be getting my chromed core support here this week, and shipping out the inner fenders and gear box for chrome as well.
