Subs Bottoming Out

i dont get it, if u play 11hz thru ur amp ur sub will play 11hz

let me see if i have this song and ill check hz

The thing is I think my Kicker only plays down to 20 hz, but yeah id appreciat you checkin it. Way more knowledge than I.

EDIT: Kicker website says zx2500 freq range is 25-200hz. For a different thread I guess.

roger that, those zx stop at 25hz iirc, and use a 24db slope ssf, so once its on ur safe

Different topic, but why do they stop at 25 and have the susonic set at 25? If they stop there anyway, why have the subsonic?

i have no idea how that all works, ask Boon

they picked 25hz because their subs cant take anything under that, lol, they rip apart

thats like my favorite song and i dont run any subsonic filters. play it all the time too

sub is fine

sure i dont have as much power as you but i guess thats consequences of really overpowering a sub

and ben. it is your job to know what you play. not bigpimpins fault, i think he even has disclaimers

Ha ha!!!! I just played a 25hz test tone and slowly raised the volume. The sound I heard earlier came back. It turns out the entire rear deck gets to flexin like 'I don't know what'. My sub is safe. Looks like I need to get some more 2nd skin on there.

Hey Decaf, if you read this, did you find the freq for the sweep on this song?
