0 gauge for the big three with stock 80A alt??

Yall need to lay off the drugs! 4 gauge is MORE than plenty for a couple short runs of the "big 3".

Your dimming is NOT because your wire is too small, it's because your electrical system needs help. If you're looking to spend money buy a battery.

Your electrical is only as good as its weakest link, which I feel that on a vehicle with stock alt / regular battery is the stock wiring.

Easiest thing to do is go ahead and do big 3 in 1/0.. You can keep 4 guage for the run for now but if you do upgrade like you talked about you wont have to redo the big 3, youll just have to replace that run with 1/0.

And with systems, you will (most likely) always want more in the future so its easier to overcompensate now than it is to re-do later..

Also id recommend not getting the KLM wire, go straight for the kolossus fleks kable. I know $3.40/ foot seems expensive, but its worth it.

Just my .02 but its your system bro :)

Even at 2KW you can do 4 guage all around easily, but it is worth it to do 1/0 for "big 3". Would go 1/0 after about 2,500w for sure though.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

That alt looks too expensive for the output to me.. a small case GM might fit?
