How to package an amp?

Hey I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on how to package my amp good so I can send it out to dB-r. I have the original box but not the original packaging. Any household items I could use or should I just get some bubble wrap and what not?

i have recived packages with duct tape that was stuck on all the way and i was told not to use it for that resin make sure to use packing tape

make sure you put the most padding/protection on the sides with the terminals, because if the RCA inputs/outputs or the power and ground terminals take a impact from being dropped it can break the board and the amp is worthless. this has happened to me in the past. thats why im telling you this. whoever you ship it with (UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex) will either drop it or drop another package on it, they dont know what they are handling and really dont care.

x2 put the most padding on the sides you could use foam or shirts anything to add more padding

I put the amp in the original box, stuff as much peanuts and bubble wrap on the ends of the amp as possible to where the box is bulging and you have to push on it to close the box up. As well as some kind of material on the top and underneath the amp. Then put that box in a brown box and repeat for all 4 sides of the amp box. I usually have to put a lot of weight on the top of the box when im taping it closed

Just pack tons of stuff around the end plates.

And pad out the bottom a bit.

As for the top... ever pulled an amp apart? It's usually like 5-10mm aluminium plate. Wouldn't surprise me if some amps would stop a bullet.
