wildbeast15
it seems to be on every car forum i go to somewhere the question rises IS he deaf? http://www.ricekiller.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82458 ^that forum is suprising they dont know about him already Quote The set up your talking about would sound great in my Tahoe. Trade you my dog for it. He has one eye but that only makes for bad depth perception so hey so what if he is running into shit, look at it this way he is easy to sneak up ninja style on. JEMT8
Correct me if I'm wrong, But I'm pretty sure I read/heard somewhere that it's the highs that get you, not the lows. I'm sure someone else will chime in if I'm wrong. Quote formerly known as Jaylor Swift

Neo_frog
im pretty sure any part of sound will make u def... Men lose their high and midrange hearing. Bass will not make you go deaf unless you are exposed to insane amounts of it constantly, which Steve is not. Hell, not even Chicken will go deaf from his bass. Go look up Fletcher Munson or equal loudness contours and that will give you an idea of what I'm talking about. And yes, Steve has posted quite a few times (along with other members) that he's passed a DOT physical which includes hearing test. Quote Need an install? TeejayBee
I read that only the highs can really hurt your hearing.
kx519
Yea, i can see where highs can be damaging. I got that acoustic shock thing from mine where you hear ringing in your ears for an hour or so. But never from bass.
