audiofanaticz
I am selling my DC Power 270SP Alternator to upgrade to something newer from DC Power Engineering. I received the alternator from DC Power on December 28th, 2009. However I did not install it until a couple weeks later. This thing is almost BRAND NEW and way under 2 months of use! Its a tad dirty due to the fact that it is powder coated white and every spec of dirt will show on white. It should fit most GM vehicles from 1996-2006. The alternator specs are 180amps at idle and 270amps peak. However it is very underrated!!! I have video proof of it doing 203amps at IDLE and over 290amps at 2000 RPM!!! It charges at 15.0volts -- 15.2volts cold, and 14.7volts -- 15.0volts hot. The alternator costs $549 new, plus an additional $30 iirc for powder coating. You can find more info at the DC Power website. Also included is the very sexy cnc machined DC Power under drive pully (I think these are also a extra charge but I am not sure, I just know they run out of stock very quick with them). I am also including a piece of 2/0 welding cable (pure copper, not tinned) that is 6 feet 8 inches long with two 1/0 ring terminals (you will need trim some wire to make the ring terminals fit however). Should be almost enough wire to do the "big 3" or at least a beefy charging wire from your alternator to front battery. This thing is a real beast!!! The best alternator I have ever used so far in my life. I only accept PayPal, and NO TRADES at all! I will ship UPS Ground, the day after the payment is made (same day if received by 3pm central time). I will not ship outside the USA Price is $350.00 + Shipping (ruffly $15-$30 depending on your location) To determine shipping costs goto the UPS website Click on "Detailed time and cost" My zip code is 53083 Box size is 10inches by 10inches by 10inches and 21 pounds Amperage output test video: Pictures: Edited February 20, 2010 by Audiofanaticz

audiofanaticz
wish this would fit 88-94 chevy v8's No, I do not believe so. I think those years have the CS-144 large case alternators with the 12 and 6 o'clock mounting tabs. Will this fit a 2001 Chevy Impala 3.4L v6? No, totally different mounting tabs. Sorry. You've got PM Pm replied!
