Why would you buy what you bought? Seriously, I think someone ripped you off. No one loads 2 different subs in an enclosure. Do you even know anything about the box? What it's tuned to? How many cubes it is? And if you can afford it but you can't wait, you're just being an idiot. There's no such thing as instant gratification in car audio. That's why the best, insanely great builds take 6 months to a year to design and build.

ryanFA5 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Posted February 21, 2010 cuz i wanted something. fast. i bought it because i intend on switching out that old kicker with another cvr and i was planning on building a box tuned to my own specs sometime in the future. probably during the summer when i dont have school. i was just desperate for something. i only like doing local sales because i dont have a credit card or whatever to buy stuff online. and no. i dont know anything about the box. which is why im going to build one this summer. i just wanted something for the time being. i was gettin bored of my fucking 6x9s turned all the way up. it just gets boring. this was my only opportunity and i acted on it. everything else on craigslist is junk shit. and this was one of the few i could find. i just wanted something to start with. and i think this is just fine. 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.

ryanFA5 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Posted February 21, 2010 That is why I say you MUST get rid of the Comp but keep the VR and get another one of the same impedance...Backseat will be louder of course but you run the risk of getting it stolen...in the trunk with the subs facing the rear would be the way to go in the trunk other than that, get a hi-lo converter from walmart...try to find a shop around you that sells kits or just get one off Knukonceptz...get another kicker cvr I really hope that the CVRs are DVC 2ohm so you can run the amp at 2ohms...I ran my CVRs in a prefab ported off like 2-300watts and I wasn't happy i am going to get rid of the comp sometime soon and swap it out with another cvr. and tomorrow ill take out the other cvr and see how many ohms it is. and this box isnt a prefab box, its a custom built box. and nothing EVER gets stolen around here. but just to be safe, im going to tint my windows in the near future also... 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.
