I haven't kept up with IPB since I ran 1.3 waaay back in the day. Is the newest version so different that you can't use the current database and keep all the members/posts or will those be rolled over? Just wondering if everyone will have to reregister and the threads will be gone. Either way, I can't wait for the upgrade. Thanks for hooking us up, Steve. The new IPB 3.0 was rebuilt from the ground up, so only the core stuff like user groups, posts, sigs, etc will transfer. Mods, skins will not. Hope that clarifies it.
