Basshead08
I make 1/4" finish panels that flush the box to the bed before linex. How do you seal them? Just silicone? Ray
I just cut it perfect. No silicone. The linex makes the seal. I have siliconed it first, it just lifts off and looks ugly. Then I talke dto my linex guy, he said dont do anything and let the linex make the seal. Worked perfect everytime since. Ive done it that way prob 25 times now The boot gets put on with body seam sealer, avaikl. at your local pepboys or autozone. Make sure you get it in "black" color. Nirvalica
I've thought it would be cool to use one of those diamond plated tool boxes as a box cover for a small blowthrough. Ray
permanent well, you can cut the linex, but I would never want to do that..lol I just make sure the front hole is large enough to get the subs out. and no leaks.
