If I had money to paint a car, it would look like this.

In my opinion a lighter color is where it's at.

Maybe a gold? Too flashy, maybe, but draws attention. Though maybe you want your system to do that job lol.

How about a white under-coat, and a pearly blue on top?

Could go a little darker maybe, but what do you think of that idea?

I know you said no black, but I just wanted to say "What would you think if he murdered your hoe?" lol

And finally... something my dad would love

I'm a fan of color though, but my dad likes white/stock. Out '87 Jimmy is white

i like the green one and the light blue and the white look great i think that green or the white would look the best on it

I think the thing that causes people to go eww is the bumper and grill. They look out of place. Not on this one but the others. The murdered one looks sweet but the bumper screams look at me im chrome.

Oh yeah, it's not completely "murdered" cause there's still chrome showing, I just didn't want to invest too much time on that; cause Steve already said no black. I have a habit of just diving into a image and photoshopping for hours, so I try to draw the line somewhere on certain images.
