Chode69 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 the other day i was driving down the road....well i had the volume up but the bass all the way down on the knob...well this fully loaded explorer (fully loaded as in people) decides to start merging into my lane...i have a tendency of driving w my hand on the bass knob...so volume is on like 22 and this guy starts to merge into my lane...i had NO time to honk and no where to swerve to since theres like a 10 inch curb next to me on the right...an idea immediately pops into my head and i decide to CRANK up the bass knob RIGHT when the bass line drops...they look over and SWERVE HARD back into their lane...if i didnt do that the side of the Durangho would have a nice size "scratch" on the drivers side and there would have been 1 pissed off chode...so i say this...THANK JOO BASS KNOB!!! I had the same shit happen to me yesterday. two lanes turn left, i am in the one on the right. its me and an old box style suburban all jacked up sitting next to me, we make the turn and he decides to come on over so i laid on the horn. I was coming back to Branson and just before I get to Fayetteville Ark on 540 this douche in a crewcab s-10 run me off the road. He was merging onto the freeway and I had moved tot eh far left lane to let him get on. But the asshat kept coming over into the left lane. I smashed the horn and then the gas to get around him as if I would have stopped it would have been a bad thing. As Im on the shoulder going into the median he realizes what hes doing and hits the brakes and Im able to pull back onto the freeway. He wouldnt look at me, and then he slowed down in the left lane to around 55 and if your familar with 540 from i40 to Fayetteville you know is more of a speedway not a freeway. I have been passed by AHP doing 85 and they never looked back. So he had a buch of people pissed at him. Finally he gets the balls to pass me. And neither him or his ugly ass wife would look at me. Now his kid in the back seat is throwin arms up like it was my fault...WTF? I followed them till I got ahold of the highway patrol and gave them the plate number. They told me they would alert Fayetteville PD and other trooper to watch for vehicle and to courtesy stop them and let them know they almost killed somebody. I was so freaking pissed and my adrenaline was pumping I started to follwo the guy and confront him, then I remembered what happened to a buddy of mine and decided to et the police handle it. The dude knew he almost killed me and hopefully it caused him to wake the hell up. I could see him looking at his wife and talking as I was passing him in the median.
