I want to run the Audioque 1200d

to two 12" Alpine Type R's

I would like to keep the subs as long as possible but is running these subwoofers on this amp going to make them more likely to blow?

I am most likely going to keep the amp and subs as what id like to buy but does anybody see anything wrong with this setup?

Should i run these at 1ohm or 4ohm?

Is it cool to mount the amp on the sub box?

The rs will be more than fine at 1 ohm if you are smart about it you should be able to run a single off an aq 1200 @1 ohm. You will be fine all day. Depends I wouldnt personally mount the amp on the box because in some cases it can be bad for the amp if your gettin some serious rattle but my old aqs rattled if they werent sitting on something soft , the bottom plate liked to rattle a bit.
