I run both the 6's and 8's in my truck and I have used the eminence in the past. The selenium's will by far out perform the eminence's in midbass and vocal range. IMO the eminence products were a huge let down in performance. I have also used the B&C lines and have had good luck with them as well.

I can't really tell you what x-over to run. I run my front stage all active.

The REAL pro higher end B&C's are great, but really expensive.

I had six of them and blew them all up but I have been running enimence for two years now and all good luck so I think they can't take much abuse but o2 and b&c are very loud and VERY clear but expensive

Been running them for awhile now they get super loud on good power and in an enclosure they have stupid amounts of mid-bass my local shop sells for 25 a piece for the 6's.
