loburbon
for the 1508's run them in a 3.6cuft box with 80sqin of port. The 1508'have been tested in many different box designs, and the box size the work best with is .9cuft with 20sqin of port per sub. Also with DD subs you dont need to tune them to 30hz. The will hit the lows just fine when tuned to 37hz. 2000 gmc yukon 4 sundown Zv3 15's 4 dd m2a's kenwood kdc-x994 2 batcap 4000's 1 batcap 2000 dual alts. 154@37hz and climbing http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3231683 http://www.myspace.com/torque150
NcHalfrican
how much power r u goin to run to those 4 dd1508's? i have a 1997 rodeo ls and i was run 4 dd 1515 with a american bass 400.1 but i wanted to keep my back seat. since i already have a dd1008a (dd said its the same spec as a dd1508) i might try doing 4 dd1508 on amercian bass 400.1 I'm planning on running them off a Stetsom 2k5d 1, so once i get my electrical finished, they should be gettin ~750 a piece at full tilt box may be a little on the large side. I have my design for my two on the other computer if you want it? But I had 72 sq inches of port. I would also consider sub up port back in and SUV. I was able to feed these beasts 980 clamped power Each.

Marlo Stanfield
My girl has 3 1508s in her Jetta off an AB 200.1, best enclosure so far has been .85ft3 + 16in^2 of port per woofer tuned to 38hz. It will burp a 146+ @ the dash and bassrace 144s, they are some seriously potent little woofers. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... gogetter
According to loburbon and others, an ideal setup for four (4) 1508's is to run them in a 3.6cuft box with 80sqin of port. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but the part that I'm getting confused on is what port **volume** do I need in order to tune my 4 1508's to ~37Hz? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks! there you go man, you got me, a dd dealer, ray, an all around badass, jeff, who builds and rebuilds and marlo, who i dont know, but from his stats knows his stuff. telling you pretty damn close to the same thing.
