Ric Thornton Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 thats got to be the most cool thing i have ever seen... but what in the world do you do to have just that much money laying around? i mean the h2 can never be sold in its old form if you wanted to... but on another note as much as those smd's weight i didnt think you could mount them like that? wasn't my money. lol... but i've been very nice on what I charged on this install. Trippi is a cool dude and this project has gotten me plenty of exposure on SMD, as well as shows, YouTube, etc. So that is worth it anyway. I've met a lot of kool people along the way, and Trippi is TOP NOTCH when it comes to this project. I thank him for the chance to work on his Hummer. as far as mounting the SMD's that way, the front baffle is 5.5" thick with 4" lag screws They are pretty well in there. I had a conversation with the company that built these subs and I was assured that with the baffle thickness and mounting hardware, that there would be no issues. Thank you for your comments.
