Special Thanks to Team Pulse members Matt and Gary for giving me a hand the past couple of days. Two great friends. I will hopefully be getting some vids and pics up tomorrow everything gets buttoned up and cleaned. Was tuning it a bit tonight... the problem with tuning this thing is it's soooooooooooooooooooo freakin loud at the volume I'm trying to set everything at (the way Trippi wants it, super loud) perfect clarity, it's not that it's distorting... YOUR EARS ARE DISTORTING... I mean it's literally ear piercing loud in this thing... It was that outside the truck it was loud and clean (it's even louder now) but when you leaned in it was the bass that got you by the throat... now I honestly couldn't tell you which is louder, the subs or the mids/highs. The dash had to be turned down a bit b/c it was louder than the doors!!!! I LOVE those Beyma Pro 8's... I want to get a set of them and build my own monitors! The tweets... omg... those Beyma cp22's are totally disgusting... like a icepick in your ear. That loud. tomorrow, remount amps (yea we had to pull them to retune), mount center console, install a pillars and ceiling trim, cut and install new carpet, install center console, wire up window switches, pull plexi on side of box and clean inside box, clean dash, wall, door panels and amp rack, clean truck, and listen to it for a bit... Who's gonna come down and lend a hand? hahaha OH ONE MORE THING!!! I have to say I'm a bit worried about the Rockford amps. This is why... When the truck came to me, we removed all the amps from the ceiling. We all knew that vibrations from the subs firing into them put a toll on the amps, and shook the hell out of them, but this takes the cake. ALL OF THE AMPLIFIERS had one thing in common. The power and ground wire (0 gauge) could be very easily pulled out, and if you put an allen key on them to tighten it, you could turn it about 4 rotations before it even started to get tight. They had worked themselves loose. Well, like I said... we all knew on the ceiling... but this time they are behind the wall (granted at 20hz everything within a block radius shakes from this thing) and when we pulled the amps EVERY AMP was the same way, the allen keys had worked themselves loose! This is a problem and I hope Rockford has figured out a solution for this... If you have a Rockford amp you may want to check and make sure they are tight people! It's got me worried that I'm gonna have to pull the amp rack apart every month to tighten them!! I mean I've even almost considered some loc-tite. Sorry, just my two cents on this one. Anyone else had this issue??
