I thought the purpose of changing the amps was to get louder, and add more power. just saying... it's a shame that beautiful amp rack will be sacrificed and no gain in output.

01 S-10 Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 Not trying to start any shit here but when I saw what the upgrade was I thought the same thing as Ric. Don't the 2500.1s already do 3000 watts each? In all honesty it would seem like more of an upgrade to switch to the 2500.1 bdcp's. Not at all hating on the brands in question because I know at least one of them is great. TDH FTW !!!
Ric Thornton Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 chode... meter nor your ear will ever be able to tell the difference. he had 5k on each sub, now there will be 6000 on each sub (again rated) and that amp really likes to have 16-18v for that output, as the rockfords were happier in the 12v to 15v range. just saying...
