Clif Designs CD4800.1LX Vs. JL Audio W7

I started a thread on CACO, but I want to see what you guys have to say about it.

Will the W7 blow?

Story behind the question:

So I went to a local shop to get my alarm fixed today. While they were working on my alarm I started browsing their catalogs and found a couple things I might be interested in. So I start talking to an employees and ask about pricing. He quotes me $800 for 1/0 wire throughout my car, 2 batteries that he said will hold up the power I'm trying to get, and a Clif Designs 40.4. Then I tell him I'll need to come back later because I told him I'm waiting for my sub before is start my build and his answer was (don't laught too hard though) "why don't you take that JL W7?" I tell him I don't want something that my amp could blow. And he tells me there is pretty much no amp that he knows of that can blow up the W7, and that the only amp that he knows can blow it was the 10,000watt amp they made for the Jackhammer. Then follows a quick argument about that and it ends with "bring your amp and if it blows the W7 you can have it." I tell him that I don't want a blown amp and I wouldn't want something that I know my amp can blows, so I ask " if I bring my amp and it blows the W7 will you give me all the things we talked about?" He says yes, and I asked him a couple more times and the answer was still yes. And that's what led me to you guys.

Do you guys have any songs you would recomend?

Oh and amp gains and box will be done by them, but I'm going to try to get a DMM to check the amp settings.

Fuck I failed. I didn't read the title.

Wire it as low as it can go, and play woofer cooker C&S on full clipped volume.

Need an install? Hit me up.

Well if he wants to put up the 13" W7 it would wire to 3ohms or .7ohms so the amp would be giving it about 2500rms (3ohms) or so and around 5500rms (.7ohms).

Would it be somewhat hard to blow the W7 if they wire it to 3ohms?
