The DD's are 45 dollars more a piece and was wondering on your opinion which setup I should get. I'm leaning toward the DD 2500's but is the extra money worth it? I will be running them on a RF T1500-1bd, going for the best SPL setup. Thanks!

Way to make wild generalizations there bud. In no way, shape, or form will one sub be better than the other in every install. Wow 145 with a pair of 15's in a trunk? That would be great and all, but I did a 145 in a trunk car (sealed on the dash) with a 9510! At 40 hz no less. And that was just taking my single 10" box from my truck and dropping it in a monte carlo. No tuning, no testing, just dropped it in and found the loudest frequency. There was probably a few db hiding in there. dB Don Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 I have owned both the DD2500, 15's and the AA Chaos(which I am currently playing with). Theres no contest as far as sheer abuse factor and power handling that goes to the Chao's 15's. The DD's feature a 7" spider and 2.5" coil where the Chao's feature a 8" spider and 3" coil. They are within tenths as far as spl goes. But the higher power and mechanical limits goes to the AA's. And should you need recones the DD recone cost is 2/3 higher than the AA's.
