Destram
So I got my four DC 4XL 15s today, and I've been playing around with the idea of inverting them. I stuck them in the box and I think it looks pretty sexy. I don't know anything about inverting them, though. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it or not just because it's so different and I don't know about it. I think I read somewhere that they're wired differently? Even if I don't do it, I have these pics showing me what it would look like. 2006 BMW 325i My feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/77301-official-destram-feedback/
Namosh
Do it! It would be a shame to hide those sexy magnets inside a box. My Ram Quad Cab Blow-through
Destram
It does look awesome. I'm just scared I would tear them up because I seriously don't know anything about inverting them. 2006 BMW 325i My feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/77301-official-destram-feedback/

Namosh
As long as you make sure the surrounds don't rub on the box, there is nothing to worry about. My Ram Quad Cab Blow-through
Destram
See that's just one extra thing to worry about and make sure is ok. My current box is doubled on top because I had my old subs flush mounted, so I was able to flip the DCs over and they fit just fine..no clue if the surround would touch anything when they play, though. 2006 BMW 325i My feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/77301-official-destram-feedback/
Basshead08
Aslong as they are all inverted there is no difference in the way they are wired. ATLien
To invert subs do you have to set it up different on your HU or is it as simple as turning them around? I'd do it if I don't lose SQ.
Destram
Hmm..some other thread I read on here, someone said you wire them opposite. Since I don't know anything about this, I wasn't sure if that was true or not. Yeah, is the sound any different? I don't want to sound like crap or not be as loud. 2006 BMW 325i My feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/77301-official-destram-feedback/
