roscoe1129
I know its going to take some time but I need a place to start. I need to know if I should use the specs from jl if not then were do I get them or is their a common size to use with 12 if so, what is it. well all I can say is get the specs form jl audio and start there and also turn them subs around man! make sure you wire the subs back to normal phase when you do. mrwigglezdj
and going with one big port for all the subs allows you to modify that one port vs doing each port,. you can make plugs to fill the port and change the tuneing of the box quickly and easily...ie. one big ass port for spl burp and then slide in a port plug tuned mid range for bass race/ bass boxing and then after the show pull that port out and put in a port that tunes the box lower for daily driveing =D Quote Americas loudest work van2006 iasca heavyweight bassboxing champion at 150.4 db with 60second average TL8 memphis PR15s,12 memphis PR6.5's coax,4 memphis PR 1inch tweets

roscoe1129
Well I tuned my box for listening not just the lanes, so I am sitting at 36 hz now but still able to do a 150 at that frequency. You have to decide what you gonna so with it more listen-shock and awe, or hit the lanes.(typically pure competition situps sound like ass on music and are tuned upwards to 50 hz) Quote Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer Scientia est Vox "In Nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti" DONT BE AFRAID TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!
