pstone11 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 6-8 cubes with at least 100 inches of port.. Quote Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
Derrick824 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 In my experience w/ an ext cab F-150, pointing the sub forward metered the worst. Sub & port up did well but pointing back did the best. Side porting did the same as sub & port up. Quote

ChevyBoy Posted June 25, 2007 Author Report Posted June 25, 2007 which specs? lol. 6, 7, 8, or in between? In my experience w/ an ext cab F-150, pointing the sub forward metered the worst. Sub & port up did well but pointing back did the best. Side porting did the same as sub & port up. sub and port pointing back? i was thinking sub back port up too. Quote
Derrick824 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Yeah sub & port back. Never tried sub up port back that I recall. Tried sub & port forward, sub & port back, sub up port side, and sub back port side w/ sub & port back metering the best. Quote
ChevyBoy Posted June 25, 2007 Author Report Posted June 25, 2007 i dont know how much room ill have for a port back. i should have enough since im taking my seat out. what i wanted to know was how sub back, port up sounded. you didnt try that did you? Quote

roscoe1129 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 port back in a pickup truck? may i ask why? x2?????i did sub down and port up in my ram single cab with a 15" eclipse titanium cone and it pounded...it was kinda between the front seats and built to go behind the seats also (for airspace, kinda like a wrap around center consel) the port area was right against the back wall though firing up......
