shooter69
I'm running my fifteen in my Ford Taurus right now, the owner of a local shop metered it with the TL and I was doing 139.9 at 35 hz. He was saying that was about as loud as I can get with my car. I was wanting to sell my fifteen and start running two twelve Fi BTL's or something of the equivalent. The shop owner was telling me the only way it'd be louder was if I fired the subs forward and sealed them from the rest of the trunk. Is he right? Would I not get any louder? hamel52
two btl 12's would be much louder than your one 15 bl no matter what car you have or how your subs are facing i mean more cone area + more powerful sub motor, roughly 4x the amount of watts rms, bigger magnets, + them being powered correctly = louder haha thats just my opinion
dohckiller808
more cone or more power. also whats your definition of loud? if you wanna go by the meter then tune higher. if you wanna be a ground pounder tune as low as you are at now and add more powwa

OrionStang
Maybe a different box for your sub. I did 139 with a single twelve on 2600 watts, but yeah two 12's would be even better. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
