It goes really looooow but is not the loudest woofer in the world !!! the SSA Icon is much better than the gti. No doubt. I don't know about the Orion, I thought it was more an spl sub. You can take a look at the Fi Q : same category as the Icon and the GTI. The SSA Xcon will do what you want, but is a lot more powerful (and it is more expensive). You can have whatever woofer you want, you MUST use a proper box : it's really box dependant. Be sure to use a good custom box, check the dimensions you can afford in your trunk in order to choose the right (size) sub. Gingeriffik Posted April 7, 2010 Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 I have 2 W15GTi's in my Tahoe and couldn't be happier. I'm not huge on being super loud, but it will defiantly tickle you ear drums. The 15's do require quite a bit of space tho. I tuned my box to just under 30hz, box is a little of 9ft3. I love it, had a W12GTi before the 15's, and these are harder, faster and seem to have a really deep punch. You can throw a lot of power at them... iirc like 3x rms as long as it is clean. SQ will definately go to the gti, q, and icon.
