Guest
also with the port being 17.31 x 4 x 6.53 isnt my port 452 cubic inches? port area is measured by the port width and height, not depth.

fritosaregood
how many cubes would you say for the three 9 or 10 yea, around that, but then youll need to account for port volume and sub displacement too. not enough room from you measurements you already put Quote seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
o8mustang13
yea, around that, but then youll need to account for port volume and sub displacement too. not enough room from you measurements you already put the measurement i put the first time are using 1" MDF if i shrink that to 3/4" minus sub and port displacement i get 11 ft3 and using the 3/4 i will fiberglass the box with 29 oz mat to compensate for the thickenss and also the front and top of the box will have a secong sheet on those to flush mount the subs a little bit. edit: with sub displacement i have 10.28 ft3 have yet to calculate port Edited April 13, 2010 by o8mustang13

fritosaregood
you could go down to 3 cubes per sub, if you want to do 3 subs. but make sure you can have a good size port too. also, dont just brace you box with sheets of fiberglass, you need some threaded rod or some other kind of cross bracing Edited April 13, 2010 by fritosaregood Quote seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
