Yes siiirrr!! I haven´t mentioned other DD subs because they still expensive, i have 3 1510´s hitting 145 dbs right now with an hifonics 2500D and a single battery @ 41 hz , i love my subs, but i have heard the 1508´s and don´t ask me why, but the 1508 pounds harder than the 1510 haha. Little mean machines!!

I think the 9518 is somewhere near 1g. Might be less tho. But IMHO, it's wayyyyy worth it. The 1508's I have are 200 a piece new, but they SLAM.

that would be great.. i can get t2s for 460ea., and thats what im planning in my budget. A 9518 for around a grand would deff. be worth it to me.

Kenwood DDX 514

DD M3a

DD 9512G

RF 600.4

RF power series 6x8s

lots of zero ga.

Whats coming: Kenwood Excelon screen, DD high end comps, DD 4ch, XS batteries

Haven't tried the 1510s but I'm soon going to upgrade to a 9515. So to the OP, if you get the 18, let me know how it runs.

under construction

I wanna say pioneers championship truck ran 13 of these off 152,000 watts and come up with 182 dbs.. i looked that up a LONG time ago so i might be wrong but i'm pretty sure

I think it was 184.x and it's still a world record.

EDIT, i'm probably wrong.

Maybe a 3518 with about 3K so you can get around 2K after impedance rise and voltage drops, hose 3518´s pound hard and sound very nice :D

Drive save...

Scott Owen hit 180.4 dbs , Iasca World record at the time, Craig Butler broke it with 181.7. On DB Drag, Alan Dante hit 180.9 if i remember correct with only a single DD Z18 in Ext 1, now he has 2 Z18 on ext 2 hitting 181.x

Also, team Shocker hit a 181.4 on ext5 hehe, who´ll be the first to hit a 185 dbs?? :trippy:
