I would do it . I have two 1508s in the daily driver and its silly for 8s running them off a concept 1200d

For a single cab truck I would do 4 1508s.

Really depends on if they are single 4ohm or dual. Ive ran 2k rms to the 12" 1500s and have no problem. Its up to you honestly, good subs for the price tho. just depends on what kind of power your looking to get?

Well, this is gonna be LONG! hehe.

I was 140-149.9 bass race champ on 2009 here (panama) with 3 1510´s , they sound AWESOME, lots of SQ and pound very hard. i tested lot of boxes, 1.25 c/f , 1.5. c/f , 1.75 c/f and 2.2 c/f , they all have ther pros and cons, depending of course on the power you have and the kind of music you like, you like low tuning?? if that´s the case, for 2K and 2 subs i would get 1.5 c/f and 15-18 SQ of port per cubic feet, they sound AWESOME with 1.75 per sub, but they could not handle power nice as they can with 1.5 per sub.

Here´s the best part, they can handle 1K CLAMPED WATTS without any problems, they would get warm after a while, but you can play a whole 4 minutes song with that power before they start to smell funny hehe, for the kind of power you are using i wouldn´t worry to much, i can asure you that you´ll see 1500 watts at the most after voltage drop and impedance rise, said that, i would get around 3.2 cubic feets after displacement and 52SQ of port.

Here you can see some vids of my subs, and by the way, the handled the 1K per sub for a complete year until i took my cadence out and got it inside the explorer, i´m using an Hifonics 2500D right now for them and i can play 24/7 at full volume without even get worm, once again, my impedance it´s a bit high and they are getting about 500 watts each sub...
