A former mayoress from Adelaide has left her three daughters $1.50 each from a $3.5 million estate. Valmai Roche, who died last year at age 81, thought her daughters, Deborah Hamilton, Fiona Roche and Shauna Roche, had plotted to kill her. Roche left her daughters "30 pieces of silver of the lowest denomination" and jewellery if they could correctly answer questions relating to their mother's personal diaries, according to the Adelaide Advertiser. Her husband was also left 30 pieces of silver. The rest of Roche's estate has been left to Catholic charity Knights of the Southern Cross. Two of the daughters are to challenge the will, saying their mother was "delusional ". The case returns to the South Australian Supreme Court next month.
