Alright my friend has a computer 8" logitech sub in his 2004 highlander while i have a 12" type r in my 1998 mitsubishi mirage. Why does his computer sub sound clearer than my sub? Is it because i have a closed trunk and because the rattling in my car makes it not sound clear?

ive always heard great things about logitech. i also read somewhere (not sure if its true) that logitech is made by Tang Band and they are very good.

Type R's are good for the money, they can take a butt ton of power. However every install i have heard with them sounds shitty.

while logitech is great for house it wont be the greatest in a car.. the box is designed for large open spaces where as what we use is for smaller spaces..

theres nothing wrong with the type r

what kind of box is it in (dont say a square one i will kick you in the nuts)

mrp 850 i know it powers them well. Well he has suv and i have a sedan... more space for bass maybe idk thats just a guess. Also wtf a computer sub vs type r? idk how that can even be possible.

it is possible because it happened. so either fix it or get new equipment

more space for bass.... haha not quite. better loading perhaps

Ok some of you are saying that its suv and shit. others saying my shit ssucks. im powering it right and its in the bassworx box 12" like glossy shit http://www.liquidation.com/shared/auction/images/photos/14240/14239457.jpg that right there.

So i want a consistent answer.

I know that im powering it right like if i open the trunk nice clean bass comes out but inside car idk if its the rattling thats ruining it or if its getting absorbed or what.
