ISO Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 1st you need to find out if your 1508's have the frequency response needed to pull off such an idea. The only 2 things you can do is to talk to the manufacture about the 1508 and what can it play frequency wise and the other thing is to build a box and play it full range or crossed over high pass at 60 or 80 hertz and listen for your self to figure out if it sounds good enough. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. "Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go." Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The Destruction of a person builds character.
Neo_frog Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 It's true. Not just any 8" sub will work as an effective midbass. You can play with some "enclosure" sizes sealed in the door to change your response, but I would rather buy one specifically for it. Need an install?
