I can't find a Bass KNOB for my amp

Since i have to spent money on buying a new Bassknob for my amp, Will it be better if i spent the money on a new EQ instead?

What's a good eq in the $50-100 Range?

I just called a stereo shop locally and he was trying to sell me some epicenter ,soundstream eq's..

Epicenter is the shit. I got a 160 for $150+ shipping. Db meter, volt meter, bass knob, and it puts out up to 11 volts.
