UnderLoK Posted October 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 25, 2012 Just sold off the SMDs the other day and got the recones done (thanks for the help Andy) a couple days ago for the LVL5's. The coils that were in the LVL5's before were suspect (the ticking wound up being the coil falling apart) and sat around 2.1-2.2 per coil before the one blew, but now they sit right at 1.4 each (.7 per amp). Yea, um... It's definitely louder... Now I just gotta get on a meter to see... They did a 50.8 before the recones, I think. Yea they look gray/black most of the time and it only took a couple weeks to get them in, once i got them (converted them to direct leads too as the posts were like 10ga ftl). It's definitely louder, gonna see about getting on the meter this week and see what's what.
