I Know That RF subs are very pricey but price aside how does the quality of the build compare.... Lets throw other big box brands in there to such as; Alpine, Kicker, Pioneer, JL, JBL, ETC... Just trying to get opinions. lower tuning is just hard. Just trying to get opinions. i have a jbl gti series sub here and i gotta say the rfs have a better build quality (in my experience). My terminals came loose on the sub(from the factory).. they just connect with a single screw and for some reason i can't get it to snug up. This really doesnt affect anything once its hooked up, just something i noticed. The t2s are significantly louder than the gti. JL audio equipment does have a feel of quality... but they are way to expensive. I did an install with a 10w7 and it was really nice.. but i wouldn't have spent that. Came up to around 4 grand all said and done with just a 10. Re audio subs are awesome, did a xxx in my old car and i loved it. i haven't really beat on too many other subs. I'm running a hifonics goliath sub now (yeah its old lol) and its built like a tank and can handle tons of power. Its my only crazy powerful sub, so i really can't compare it to fi or anything but im sure any sub that can be CONSERVATIVELY rated at 2k rms has to be built rock solid.
