Hot Amp

:nea:I Need Help 2 Figure Out Why My Amp Gets Hot. Any Ideas On What Would Cause This ( Poor Air Movement, To Much Power, Etc.)I Would Appreciate The Advice

what amp,

the most common causes are poor voltage, smaller wiring than necessary, bad ground, and running impedances lower than what the amp is designed for.

It's not just the size of it that's horrible either. It's content is just as awful. Do we need to see logos for everything in your car or hear about the lame ass capacitor you don't even have?

oversized speaker wires, maybe?

God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg.

how can oversized speaker wires cause this??

EDIT:

Got this cleared up. Oversized speaker wires CANNOT cause this, all it does it lower the resistance which maximizes your power. Just make sure to use the right OHM load. Thanks Decaf lol
