finkster Posted May 12, 2010 Report Share Posted May 12, 2010 what amp, the most common causes are poor voltage, smaller wiring than necessary, bad ground, and running impedances lower than what the amp is designed for. dwz Posted May 25, 2010 Report Share Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) how can oversized speaker wires cause this?? EDIT: Got this cleared up. Oversized speaker wires CANNOT cause this, all it does it lower the resistance which maximizes your power. Just make sure to use the right OHM load.
