what's the best amp to push an 12" w7

they did the dual 1.5 because of the jl slash series amps. they run anywhere from 1-4 ohms. they want you to get that amp to match the subs im guessing. but another great amp that does the same thing is the alpine pdx amps i believe. they just came out with the new ones and the pdx 1200 looks like a great amp

Jensen and boss amps go perfect with JL subs

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

i have an older power 1001BD pushing my W7. its a great match and it really does the trick. i just dont know what ohm the sub is cuz i havent taken it out the box yet. i just took it outta the guys car i bought it from and put it in mine. i know its foolish but i havent had time to mess with it.

currently just running a JL 12W7 and RF BD 1001

Pyles way better!

Rockford at 0.75 ohms will be great, just be carful with the gains, the JL might not be happy.
