Is this a ok way to mount a amp to a box?

The piece of MDF is secured to the box with different screws then what holds the amp, theres also a piece of foam over the screw heads where they would make contact with the bottom of the amp, this is a QUICK paint diagram of the rest lol

please let me know if its ok or what would make it better

Mounting the amp to a box can suck. The box can have vibration and cause ur amp to fry... use caution

I think he is using caution. IF there ain't anywhere else what can ya do. Rubber bushings? Ya could help.

ya i have been down that road fried many amps before someone told me what was happening but ya it go with rubber gashings it would look alot cleaner too instead of having foam stinkin out the sides

Also, after putting the rubber bushings under the feet of the amp, you can place some Heavy Duty Felt Strips under the "stomach" of the amp and that will help with the vibrations too.

I think the way you are doing it is better than I see most people do it......You should be fine, unless you have an amp that is notorious for being vibration sensative I.E. DD Z1.

the foam isnt hard, and it doesnt stick out the sides
