AkPride
Well I figured i would post up what im currently working on, I know alot of people know me as a shit talker, but I would like to put that behind me. The setup is going in a 2004 silver WRX with a 2.0 stock turbo manual. stock electrical still. I will be throwing in 8 "custom" 12''s subs i dont really know what brand to call them because the guy that i buy them from buys all his cones spider assembly from TC sounds like alot of other companies and only thing Ive been able to see that makes his unique is the magnet/drive he uses on them which is Neodium *its Neodium something* buy i cant remember what else it was he called them. 4 of the 12's are different model then 4 of my other subs so i will be putting 2 different boxes in there of 4 12''s each box. the box in the rear *NEAREST* The trunk is gonna be 6.7 or 6.9 cubes i 4got which one it was and port will be tuned to about 38-41 hz. and all of this will be powered by 2 Rockford Fosgate T4000k YAY!. I will post up pics of what i could snap of my box after my iphone was charged. feedback input any ideas ? 4 15'' Big Perm Subs in a Custom Built Box. 4 Kenwood Excelerion Mids. 1 RockFordFosgate T4000.Bd 1 Alpine 500w. 97SSBlazer
lol lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/

treossi
this thread is the lulz, so you're doing 4 subs.. and then 4 other brand subs.. in a car that's supposed to be really light.. people usually do fiberglass in those cars due to weight.. pictures would help thread not fail as much as it does at this current time and date Team sundownWESTCOASTSPL.COM we're throwing dbdrag events very soon visit the website for details

AkPride
yea I know pics will help more lol i just don't have usb for my iphone right now to upload or i would, i will try and explain better, I will have 8 12'' "big perm" subs *call them what ever he buys the parts assembles them with different types of drivers so i call him what he wants* 4 of the 12's are the proto version that he had made just to test be for putting them through the production line i guess at least that's that Im told, so 4 of them are the prototypes and 4 are the production model which were made with different cones, voice coil. so I had to separate the subs cause you cant have a shared air space with mix matched subs just wouldn't work for the scores i wanna hit. I will upload withing 20 mins or so gonna go buy usb cable real quick and i will take pics of the subs and where its all going. 4 15'' Big Perm Subs in a Custom Built Box. 4 Kenwood Excelerion Mids. 1 RockFordFosgate T4000.Bd 1 Alpine 500w.
