korey_hofer
no FI oemed sub is going to compete with a true sq woofer, they sound good and get loud but won't touch a purpose built sq driver. to be honest are you even sure you want a sq setup? try the morel ultimo Quote previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. ccrider540
Well I don't think he's looking for a pure sq system but he really like the way the w7s hit the low low notes and sound clean and hit hard so I was just trying to find out if the Fi Qs would hit the lows just as well and sound clean like the w7s. I have fi bl's and he likes them but he isn't sure if he will like the fi q more than the w7 Quote 1)Alpine CDA-117 1)hifonics brutus bxi 2610 1)hifonics zeus zxi6410 3)Alpine sps-600c 2)Fi BL d1 15s fully loaded

soundman72
SQ doesn't equal high spl lows. It....can...per say- but the most important thing is linear response and a natural sound. The capability to sound natural all the way down to zilch. If you get out of car audio you will find a lot more paper cone subs and drivers used for SQ (back to response and light wight) in pro audio, etc etc. Now if you really wanna find something- take the smart route and research what the past champs in SQ have used in their setups. You'll most likely find some type of pattern, or you can at least compare the multitude of subs and figure out what spec.s "real" sq guys look for.
