wire both subs in parrallel then series them to each other= 1ohm load :D

Other way round is better - series the coils then parallel the subs. More motor force or Q or something, can't remember off the top of my head.

I'm gonna add this link and bump this old informative thread, because even though

this is stickied, people can't seem to find it. Maybe this will keep from having fifteen of the same thread started a week.

Maybe not though. Oh well, just thought I would put this link up there.

if you have a dual 4 ohm sub can you wire it to 2 ohms or is 4 ohms the lowest it can be wired?

and if its a dual 4 ohm sub what/how can you get the most power out of it?

Yes you can wire 4 ohm sub to 2 ohm stable on amp.. If it dvc 2 ohm sub, you can wire to 1 ohm stable on the amp. If the the sub 4 ohm and you want the most of it then it depend on the amp. Some amp can be powerful at 2 or 1 ohm stable. Get the most of your sub depend on amp you're using.... Wiring many sub into 1 amp can be fun but just becarful not to blow it up..
