I know what it hit!!!........ a 152 he did a 154.5 in Usac on Sunday! so 152 Dash Sealed up and 154.5 Kick....2 12's. Not bad i say! I feel good knowing he got his $$ worth out of me too. meade916 Posted October 12, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 Hey Steve when you do those 45s with the resin...Do you use resin only or do you apply mat or w/e it is you prefer to use?? I don't see nothing but resin :-[ These particular boxes were VERY small so i didnt use any fiberglass matt. If he wanted to pay more i could have but the resin was used to make the inside smooth like glass and get rid of the right-angles in the box. ChevyBoy Posted October 17, 2006 Report Share Posted October 17, 2006 dude we have plenty of posts as to where to get resin. home depot, lowes sometimes, ace, west marine, local boat shop. as far as i kno, walmart here or anywhere ive been for that matter, have never carried fiberglassing equiptment. and i doubt he sanded this box because its pretty much a 1 time use. Needless to say the car had a battery in the hatch with 2 T2000 Amps with these boxes. Took it to the show came home and it all came out in less then a hr including Corona time!
