help on car audio please

Hey, im new to smd 'forum' ive watched his vids for like..over a year easily, just was never a forum person . but i have a few questions on car audio for my first nice setup.

I was looking at 2 FI SSD 12's and was gunna get a crescendo 3k, with knuconceptz, or RF wiring kit.. but i hear, those 2 FI SSD 12's wont handle a crescendo 3k??.. so i wana know what amp i could put on those fi ssd's to make them pound, or another one of my choices is to go buy 2 12' Fi BL's and put the crecendo 3k on them?? if that would work. any ideas/tips?

Go with the 2 bl's on a crescendo, with knukonceptz flex.(much cheaper than RF). But make sure you have the electrical to back up the amp.

electrical to back up the amp? i have 2 big batts, one starter, and one my dad hooked up for me that runs from starter to my back seat, is that what you mean? there huge batts though. (same kind aswell so charge same rate)

Like baaudio said, look into upgrading your alternator as well, that much pull from those big batts can't be good on a stock alt.

yeah he also put in a new alt.. its brand new, but i asked what like size, he said he didnt remember, but its new as of like, last december. as well as the starter batt, and the 2nd bat was installed just a couple weeks ago.. so its a GMC Sierra 1500 1994, so..with the 2 batts, i should also rip out that new alt for another? :/ if so what alt shopuld go in that truck? for the 2 12' bls on a cresendo 3k? (if) this ones not good enough..

you want at least a 200 amp alt and 2 group 31 batts for that amp. also have you checked out the dc audio lvl4 xl, or the audioque hdc3?

yeh ive seen audioques hdc3 or whatever.. and there like the same price as a bl 12'?? havent seen the prices ina while.. and ive emailed dc audio so many times for prices on a lvl 4 12' and no reply.. and same with the xl.. kinda dissapointed :/ got the prices for em by any chance? but i think the audioques 12' and the bl's 12 same price give or take?

yeh the hdc312 is 249$. and another thing that confuses me, with the crescendo 3k amp, if i got the hdc3 12's should i order them in (D1? or D2?)
