wtf did he hit. my buddy had an 86 and that thing would drive through anything. i watched him spin out in the ran slam into a telephone pole. completely wiped it out and all he did was dent in his wheel well, which he just popped back out. he also wiped out a cement block goin 40mph and all it did was scratch his bumper a little. those things are built like tanks lol

It's was a girl driving lol. She smacked into a 18 seater commuter van. The beamers front whole right side got pushed back bumper, cracked, lights smashed & fender pushed back so I couldn't open the passenger door. The beamer was all metal & it coulda been a easy fix (no engine damage just body damage) I was a student with no job at the time & couldn't afford the fix so I sold it.

It was a 1977 Thunderbird (power everything). That car was great and a complete TANK.

My folks worked for BASF (my mom in Refinish) and every year some employees would get a free paint job so they could test out their water born paints (new doors, all rust repaired, bump outs, etc). My T-Bird was gray already, but they painted it the dark metallic from the 5 Series the following year. The hood was like a 10ft mirror
