hamel52
do they get pretty loud and move some air though or should i just stick with a ported enclosure for that
qu1cks1lver56
My t-line was way louder than the ported box the subs were in before, and I gave them over rms, not by much, and they performed amazingly, especially for cheapy subs. hamel52
yeah i think your supposed to tune it to the fs of the sub and they are supposed to have the best range of frequencies from what i've heard. anyone know how to design one or want to design one for me? spl4life
try not to put too much power to it... unless your custom sub has some real good suspension... my theory is that quarter wave tlines have very little backpressure... thats why you cant throw too much power into it... i would say a little below RMS with clean/uncliped power and you should be fine... if i were you i would do do 1000w RMS, mayb 1200w max... i burned my lvl 5 in a tline cuz i was being stupid...
