S1R-BLUNTZWORTH Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Sold my 2 t1500-1bd's and seriously considering the new t2500-1bdcp.. Anyone have any experience with the new constant power amplifiers? Like just for example, is a t1000-1bdcp somewhere around the equivalent of a t1500-1bd? If that applies, what about the larger ones... I understand the underlying tech thats inside them, just wanted to see if it's no bs(works like advertised) from people that have actually heard them in action(like no imp. rise @ box tuning, consistent volume, etc). Any feedback about these new CP amps would be greatly appreciated. thanks Amps - 2x t1500-1bd Subs - 2x hdc315's(copper d2's) Deck - 1940's Amplitude Modulation radio
pthrift Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Working at a shop that sells rf.... We've had a dozen (literally) t1000bdcp's..... They're significantly stronger at 2ohms.... But on par with previous models at 1 ohm.... For example 1150 at 2ohms & 1420 @1ohm..... We've Not yet had the 2500cp's come thru....sorry I can't be of much more help on impedience rise or etc for u... Is there much of a difference in power between running them @ 1 or 2 ohms, like 100 watts maybe? For the time being until I pick up a second one, I'd be runnin it at 2ohms for my subs. Beanz Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Well if you want a 1500 watt amp i say you get the 1500 watt one. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
S1R-BLUNTZWORTH Posted June 4, 2010 Author Report Posted June 4, 2010 Well if you want a 1500 watt amp i say you get the 1500 watt one. eehh... for real? just sold my two t1500-1bd's, why would i buy them again? was mentioning the 1000-1500 watt CP amps for a point-of-reference, you know, maybe a rule of thumb to go by and apply when gauging the bigger 2500 watt version. Starting to doubt that anyone on here has touched the t2500-1bdcp amp... Amps - 2x t1500-1bd Subs - 2x hdc315's(copper d2's) Deck - 1940's Amplitude Modulation radio

I've seen every recommending this cresendo company, they new or something? Amps - 2x t1500-1bd Subs - 2x hdc315's(copper d2's) Deck - 1940's Amplitude Modulation radio
CNF Kevosinn Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 yes they are somewhat new, but their 3k amp is amazing for the $$$ it puts out 3300 rms at 13.8 at 1 ohm and is .5 ohm stable. its the same amp as the older sundown 3000 just a different heat sink *** SuperSeller Status Verified *** ( http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers/ ) "kevosinn's" astro van 8 custom Sundown Zv4 18's 4 Sundown scv 6000's CNF Distribution CNC parts Skyhigh wire some batteries SMD Meters and tools used on the installhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172877-kevosinns-vanwest-coast-skyhigh-car-audio-vehicle/ 16,000 watt walled silverado build.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161965-walled-silverado-4-hdc4-15s-4-crescendo-3500s-and-much-more/ 8,000 watt 1999 Subaru legacy outback.
