That way you can turn the woofer up to excursion and don't have to worry about damage to the woofer. Also you do not use a box. You free air it. ISO Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 On average you want to use the resonate frequency of the driver you are breaking in or just go straight to 20 hertz and you do not need alot of power to break in a woofer either.
