J00bles
just use bolts with washers and nuts on them. the wood does nothing to your power, so youll be fine. Airborne
I used brass bolt when we used normal bolts the gave me a nasty imp rise always wondered if it had a noticeable rise. The bolts don't conduct as well as stranded wire. Maybe thread some small copper bar?

I went from 9 ft of 16awg to Direct 8ga and Bolts and didn't gain any db...... finally something I can do! I had surgery a month ago and I am gimped up and one handed for a while but I can thread some copper! I am going to see if I can score some and compare the resistance against some steal and stainless bolts.
Wastehog
If you do use bolts, use a double nut on the outside. Then you can have one nut hold the ring terminal and the other holds the bolt in, so then you don't have to remove the subs to tighten the bolts. 7jezuz7
I need to do this sometime, using those plastic red and black connections or whatever they are, are no good. So just any kind of bolt and nut works? Quote An Audio Technix 18" Strato on a Kicker KX120.2 My Youtube Bass Vids Updates When Possible...
