Meades speaker terminals on his box?

Recommended Posts

I wanna do the same terminals as meades box

would I jus need something like quater inch stainless all thread through the box and a washer and nut to the box then the ring terminal for +/- then another box?

Will the wood cancel out and power or current?

Thanks

I used brass bolt when we used normal bolts the gave me a nasty imp rise

That actually explain a bit.......

I went from 9 ft of 16awg to Direct 8ga and Bolts and didn't gain any db......

finally something I can do! I had surgery a month ago and I am gimped up and one handed for a while but I can thread some copper!

I am going to see if I can score some and compare the resistance against some steal and stainless bolts.

If you do use bolts, use a double nut on the outside. Then you can have one nut hold the ring terminal and the other holds the bolt in, so then you don't have to remove the subs to tighten the bolts.

I need to do this sometime, using those plastic red and black connections or whatever they are, are no good. So just any kind of bolt and nut works?
