chewie Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 well guys just picked her up. its a 1988 checkmate convincer its got a 454 punched and stroked with eagle crank eagle rods and weisco pistons. it also has a mild cam (not sure on duration and lift) bravo 1 outdrive with labbed 24 pitch 4 blade prop. it also had a full nitrous setup. and 25 lb bottle in the cabin. the nitrous was never used and the motor has 20 hours of break in on it. (nitrous setup for sale) im a big small boat big outboard fan and not too partial to inboards but this will do it for me lol!! anyways heres some pictures. qu1cks1lver56 Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) Sick boat man, be careful with that Bravo One outdrive though, DO NOT let the oil get low, the top and bottom share the same reservoir and when it gets a little low and you shower down on it you'll lose an outdrive. And that's a $3000 mistake, we lost one on our cruiser when we had it. After that we checked outrdrive oil before we went out EVERY time lol. Here's the only pic I can find of our boat atm. Sittin out at Fort McCray (SP) in Pensacola. Amazing place to anchor up for the weekends, crystal clear water even when it's 20 feet deep. 1987 IMP Liberty 270. I loved that boat, had twin Mercruiser 460 4 cylinders. Weird engines but they were 200 hp each and would run that heavy ass boat 53mph.
