I was always planning on replacing that system with a BTL, but just never did. It is now gone, and I have the money to buy a new one. When I have my local audio place setup a box for me, what should it be tuned at? Or should I just let them deal with it? So the BXI2610 Amp should be fine for the BTL Correct? if you run it at about 14.4 yeah itll be fine. it puts out rms at 14.4 volts TEAM DC Everything is a 150 on th earometer Well I guess punching a woman is a good way to test your strength! cc_audio Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 hifonics bxi amps are garbage... over rated, and are built cheap. A lot of people have had problems with the DAT 2500s burning up, but I do not have personal experience with them. I'd recommend a rf 2500, DD M4 or M3a. Pretty much any amp that can put out a ton of clean power should do fine. Just do some research there is a bunch. What do you know buddy, I have a BXI-2610D. Its just a little guy but it continues to take serious punishment, I would recommend a Brutus any day of the week. Price/Performance is very good. Despite the fact they only make 2590 watts instead of the full 2600. Jeesh, I've owned three brutus amps of various years, not one of them had issues from what I can remember. Solid amps for sure.
